Release 1.7.0 for STR20-IP
Group updates for controllers and OSDP devices, quick controller replacement, soft AntiPassBack, diagnostics and API improvements.
Release date28.09.2026
TypeRelease
DeviceSTR20-IP
Version1.7.0
New features
Cluster operations
- Group updates for controllers and OSDP devices allow multiple controllers or devices to receive firmware updates simultaneously, reducing maintenance time.
- Quick controller replacement simplifies replacing a failed controller without losing settings or reconfiguring access points.
- Firmware version check when adding a controller to a cluster automatically checks compatibility with the current system version and warns about mismatches.
System configuration
- Custom controller names make controllers easier to identify and locate in the interface.
- Alarm event configuration allows users to define which system events should be treated as alarms.
- Automatic cluster authentication allows switching between cluster controllers without manually entering credentials, simplifying distributed system deployment.
- Cluster time checks monitor time across all cluster controllers and warn about differences that may affect the accuracy of the event log.
Access control
- Preventing another passage until the first passage cycle is complete prevents repeated identification and a second person's passage before the first person has completed the cycle. This applies to turnstiles and vehicle barriers.
- Soft AntiPassBack warns the operator about a repeated passage without blocking the passage itself.
Improvements
Access control
- Separate schedules for each access point direction within an access profile allow different entry and exit schedules. For example, entry may be permitted from 08:00 to 20:00 while exit remains available around the clock.
- Double-leaf door algorithms support different control scenarios for double-leaf doors.
Monitoring and diagnostics
- License plate recognition connection check verifies service availability when configuring the integration, helping detect connectivity problems.
- All connected peripherals in Diagnostics and Service are displayed even when they have not yet been assigned to an access point.
- Detailed event log filtering by Notification type makes important notifications easier to find.
Events and indication
- Resetting an access point alarm from the graphical plan allows the alarm to be cleared without restoring the passage sensor to its normal state.
- Operator information in passage confirmation events from the Guard Post identifies the operator who confirmed the passage.
- Employee information in access point mode changes made through a keypad reader identifies the employee who performed the action.
- Card collection event records a card being collected by a turnstile card collector or a person leaving for the external zone with a single-use card.
- Reader indication when passage is authorized from the graphical plan or the remote opening button activates the corresponding indicator when the door is opened remotely.
Backups
- Extended backup configuration filenames include the controller serial number and firmware version in addition to the date and time, making archives easier to identify and manage.
User interface
- Reworked Cluster Management section improves navigation and presentation of cluster controller information.
- Optimized personnel and access point sections load employee, visitor and access point pages faster, particularly with large record sets.
- Service renamed to Database Diagnostics more accurately describes the database maintenance functions of the section.
Developers (API)
- API improvements extend programmatic interaction with the system. Full API 1.7.0 change history.
Bug fixes
Critical fixes
- High-traffic turnstiles: fixed completed passages being recorded as incomplete during heavy traffic.
- Visitors: fixed visitors being automatically deleted from the database 30 days after being added.
- Event log: fixed high memory consumption and a frozen web interface when applying filters with automatic refresh enabled.
Integrations
- ZKTeco biometric terminals: fixed an incorrect number of people being written when updating terminal data.
Automation
- Employees with an unlimited-duration access profile can now trigger automation through a keypad reader.
- Side A Unlocked mode: corrected automation behavior for access points equipped with a single relay.
Controllers and equipment
- NTP server: fixed the inability to select a controller with a five-digit serial number as the NTP server.
- Access point operating mode schedules: fixed schedule settings being reset after a controller restart or firmware update.
- Turnstile card collector: fixed a failed visitor passage incorrectly unassigning the card of the next person passing through the turnstile.
Event log
- Downloaded event log: fixed duplicate records in exported files.
Data import and export
- CSV visitor import: fixed import failures when the first passage and last passage fields were populated.
- Exporting people with photos: fixed errors when exporting employees with attached photographs.
